Congressman Jim Bridenstine will be the featured speaker at the Jenks Chamber of Commerce’s Monthly Luncheon on April 19.
The luncheon begins at noon at the Hive, 115 S. First St. in Jenks.
Bridenstine was elected in 2012 to represent Oklahoma’s First Congressional District. He serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Science, Space and Technology Committee.
Jenks Chamber of Commerce President Josh Driskell said the luncheon will be a good opportunity for Jenks residents and business owners to meet with their representative.
“We’re looking forward to hosting Congressman Bridenstine and look forward to his insight on the goings on in Washington D.C. under the new presidential administration,” Driskell said.
The cost to attend is $15 for Chamber members, $20 for non-members and non-RSVP’d guests.
RSVP to email@example.com by 5 p.m. April 17 to attend.
This month’s luncheon will also serve as a food drive for the Jenks Community Food Bank. All attendees are asked to bring one of the following items:
Vegetables (excluding corn and green beans)
The food bank serves Jenks families in need on a weekly basis from their location at 324 W. Aquarium Place.
