Ranking #43, Jenks is proud to have been listed in the August 2007 issue of Money Magazine's "Top 100 Best Places to Live in the U.S." Money focused on cities with a population of 50,000 or less that offered the best combination of economic opportunity, good schools, safe streets, things to do and a real sense of community. Money Magazine described Jenks as a growing community with a small town charm, highlighting the Oklahoma Aquarium and RiverWalk Crossing. Jenks was the only city in Oklahoma in the top 100 for 2007.

Growth is fast becoming our middle name. Jenks leads with 47.9% change in population from 2000-2006 according to the Oklahoma Census Data Center 2006 Population Estimates by Place.

Affordable home lots, low interest rates, and a nationally recognized school system continue to make for a strong housing market in the Jenks and South County area. Residents praise the high quality of life and convenience to the metro area.
