As the years have progressed Jenks has developed from a small, suburban town of Tulsa to a city which stands on its own, poised to lead the state in the development of quality housing, an unbeatable business environment, and tourism growth.

Throughout Jenks new commercial developments have begun construction. These new retail and office spaces will compliment the residential growth, offering more places to shop and conduct business.

Village on Main, by Developer Duane Phillips, is a multimillion dollar mixed-use lifestyle development. Village on Main will offer distinctive eateries, lush landscaping, pedestrian paths to both entertainment and office venues and modern housing. It is stragetically located to incorporate the classic charm of the city with unique opportunities of river development.

Elm Street Market, by Wallace Companies, opened in early 2005. This development features a two-story center with office space upstairs and retail space on the bottom level. This 12,000 square foot facility is centrally located in Jenks, one block away from Main Street and the Creek Turnpike.

SouthLakes Villas Office and Retail, by Wallace Companies, have a distinct style of its own, offering individual garden, cottage-style offices along Elwood as well as a shopping center. Designed and landscaped with a flair of a Tucson garden this development will house medical offices, financial professionals and dozens of other accomplished businesses.

South Lakes Business Park, strategically located across from South Lakes Golf Course, adjacent to both the R.L. Jones Airport and the Tulsa Technology Center, South Lakes Business Park, by Wallace Companies, will offer residents of Jenks a place to shop, work, and relax.

Versatility is a major goal for this new development with retail businesses opening onto Elwood Avenue while having office and warehouse space available directly behind it.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites To accommodate the large number of visitors, many who come from out of state, to visit the Oklahoma Aquarium, the first hotel in Jenks opened in May 2005. This 75-room hotel, complete with a 5,000 square foot conference facility is creating a place for visitors to spend the night or schedule large business meetings.

RiverWalk Crossing. Construction began in 2004 for RiverWalk Crossing, by Jerry R. Gordon Developments. RiverWalk Crossing is a Tulsa County first utilizing the visual appeal of the Arkansas River and creating a true riverfront development.

Located just north of the Oklahoma Aquarium along the west bank of the Arkansas River this dynamic new development is home to retail, restaurants, and office space. The objective behind the development of RiverWalk Crossing is for the establishment of a high quality, vibrant entertainment and mixed use center that attracts visitors from a local, metropolitan and regional area. Buildings feature a Mediterranean style architectural theme and will be linked by an uninterrupted riverfront pedestrian plaza, which connects to the Oklahoma Aquarium. This plaza serves as an outdoor dining space, an area for live concerts and events, and as an area for visitors to stroll around while enjoying many shopping and dining opportunities.
