Jenks voters have consistently supported school bond issues, which have constructed a planetarium, an Olympic-sized swimming facility and state-of-the-art classroom facilities.
Jenks offers a number of innovative foreign language programs including a Chinese immersion program that starts in kindergarten.
Of course, Jenks is also home to storied athletic programs.
The Jenks Trojan Varsity Football team has played in every state championship game for more than a decade and claims 14 state football titles.
Other successful programs include the Jenks swimming team, baseball team and track. The basketball and track programs also produce many successful athletes.

Some residents of Jenks fall within the Bixby School District, home to the 2014 Oklahoma 6AII football champion Bixby Spartans.

Jenks-area residents have a variety of post-secondary education opportunities in the metro region.
Degree options range from certifications to associates to bachelors to graduate degrees.
Educational institutions include Tulsa Tech, Langston University, Northeastern State University – Broken Arrow, Oklahoma State University-Tulsa, University of Oklahoma – Tulsa, Oral Roberts University, the University of Tulsa, and Tulsa Community College.
Tulsa Community College offers a program to Tulsa County students that enables them to attend their first two years at TCC tuition-free.
Tulsa Achieves pays for up to 100 percent of tuition to Tulsa County high school seniors who graduate with a 2.0 or higher grade point average.
The program pays for up to 63 college credit hours or up to three years of college, whichever comes first.
Tulsa Tech also has a campus nearly next door to Jenks.
Tulsa Tech is the regional leader in career and technical training, and has been serving students, businesses, and our community since 1965. Tulsa Tech offers full-time career training, part-time evening and weekend classes, as well as customize corporate training for any type of business need.
Tulsa Tech offers a program for Tulsa County students that enables them to attend up to age 24 tuition-free. The Accelerating Independence Scholarship is a gap scholarship that covers all tuition costs not covered through grants and other federal financial aid.
The nearest Tulsa Tech campus is located next to the Jones Riverside Airport on 91st street, and with five other campuses across the region, you’ll find any class both affordable and convenient.
