The Jenks Chamber of Commerce named Adam Abel, Mortgage Loan Officer for AMC Mortgage, Ambassador of the Quarter for the first quarter of the 2023. Abel is one of longest tenured ambassadors, serving the community for over five years.
Ambassadors are the Chamber’s volunteers who attend ribbon cuttings and assist with Chamber programs. Ambassadors are awarded points for their service.
The top point-getter is named Ambassador of the Quarter. Abel led in first, with Karrie Shust, Victory Remodeling and Motivational Me, following as runner up.
Abel said he loves uplifting the Jenks community, and the Ambassador program is a great avenue to help others.
“The core ambassador group always helps to motivate me and fuel my passion to help more and more people. It may be shocking for people find out that someone in a 100 percent commission based job doesn’t love sales, but I’ve found success in serving the people first and then the business usually follows.”
Jenks Chamber staff member Lane Castleberry expressed his appreciation of Abel.
“Adam’s passion for his community and helping others is contagious. We all need people in our lives who give us the encouragement to pay it forward, and Adam is one of those people for me.”
Castleberry also commended the whole Ambassador team for their immense support.
