The Jenks Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of Amy Smith to their team. Smith will serve as Director of Programs and Member Services.
In her new role, Smith will be the first point of contact for current members and new members, ensuring both are connected with the resources and services they need.
Her responsibilities will also include event planning and optimizing all Chamber programming.
Smith’s previous roles include working as an administrative assistant for Perdue Law in Tulsa, a sales associate for Nick Smith Insurance Agency, and owner and operations manager for a local bread company.
Heather Turner, President and CEO of the Jenks Chamber, is excited to welcome Smith to the Chamber team.
“Amy brings a wealth of experience in areas needed to run a successful chamber of commerce, especially event management and ability to build relationships.” said Turner. “As a former small business owner, Amy also understands the balance of wearing many hats required in a small-team setting.”
Smith said she is eager to get started in her work, and looks forward to meeting the community.
“I am excited to be a part of the Jenks Chamber at such an exciting and growing time,” said Smith. “I have been a member of the Jenks community for several years now, and have four kids in Jenks schools. We love Jenks.”
Smith can be reached via email at amy.smith@jenkschamber.com or by calling the Chamber office at 918-299-5005.
