Windows by Jeff recently received the Jenks Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Year award, presented at the 2020 Inaugural Banquet Jan. 16. The Business of the Year award recognizes an organization that has shown significant growth and made outstanding contributions to the local economy and community during the previous year. The winner has demonstrated business growth, innovation, sound business practices and community involvement.

Windows by Jeff is a long-established company that has truly embraced – and been embraced by – Jenks.

Long-time members of the Jenks Chamber, they are proud to promote the community to anyone who walks through their doors.

Windows by Jeff began in 1999 with a desire to provide Tulsa homeowners with quality replacement windows and superior custom installations. Out of a need in the area for a business with a primary focus on window services, Windows by Jeff opened its doors.

Owner Jeff Ford is a native Tulsan, who served as a Tulsa Firefighter for 25 years before retiring to dedicate more time to Windows by Jeff.  He has more than 30 years of experience as a contractor in the Tulsa area. His wife, Sarah, helps with the administrative functions of the company.

“Our practice is to use the best installers in Tulsa who are reliable, conscientious workers,” said Ford. “Like you and me, they are a part of the community. More than that, they are skilled craftsmen who take pride in the job being performed.”

In addition to running their business, Windows by Jeff are valued contributors to the Jenks community.

In 2019, they purchased two properties in Jenks to redevelop and improve.

They volunteered time and resources to the Demand Project, which combats human trafficking, were sponsors of the Annual Heroes and Hot Rods Car Show, which honored the late Jenks Police Officer Sgt. Brian Crain, donated to Habitat for Humanity, and so much more.

“We believe we exemplify the story of Jenks’ growth and development over the past couple of decades,” said Ford. “We have grown in this city since having a storefront on Main in 2006 … We want Jenks to be a thriving garden for small businesses, supporting residents day in and day out.“
