The Jenks Chamber of Commerce’s Feb. 23 Women in Business luncheon will feature News on 6 anchor Chinh Doan

During the noon luncheon, presented by Red River Payroll, Doan will share her life story and speak on overcoming adversity and building success.

Doan is a former refugee, foster child and the first in her family to graduate college. She is a passionate storyteller who hopes her personal story will inspire others to follow her motto of “work hard and be kind.”

Doan was born in Vietnam and is fluent in Vietnamese. At the age of four, she and her father, a former South Vietnamese officer and prisoner of war of nearly 10 years, received refugee status that allowed them to move to the United States. 

She joined KOTV – News On 6 in January 2020, where she anchors weekend evenings and reports on weekdays at the CBS affiliate in Tulsa.

The Women in Business program is sponsored by Red River Payroll, Tedford Insurance, Motivational Me, BancFirst and Public Service Company of Oklahoma.

Cost to attend is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
