The City of Jenks will have a public discussion regarding Vision2 at its city council meeting this evening.
According to the Tulsa World, Vision2 is “A $748.8 million, 13-year plan to extend Tulsa County’s 0.6 percent Vision 2025 sales tax was rolled out August 9. The proposed extension would start when the current tax expires, Jan. 1, 2017, and last through Dec. 31, 2029.”
The vote will occur on Tuesday, Nov. 6 countywide.
According to projections, Jenks would receive $9.2 million in funding for local projects.
The Jenks City Council meeting is at 7 p.m. tonight at Jenks City Hall, 211 N. Elm.
