The City of Jenks will hold a public discussion on the proposed Vision2 tax package on Monday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m at Jenks City Hall, 211 N. Elm.
Vision2 is a $748.8 million, 13-year plan to extend Tulsa County’s 0.6 percent Vision 2025 sales tax.  The proposed extension would start when the current tax expires on Jan. 1, 2017 and last through Dec. 31, 2029.
The vote will occur countywide on Tuesday, November 6.
According to projections, Jenks would receive $9.2 million in funds for local projects.
