In recognition of the Jenks Trojans’ thirteenth state football championship, the Jenks City Council has declared Dec. 18-24 Jenks Trojan Week.

Head Football Coach Allan Trimble and quarterback Kyle Alexander were in attendance at the council meeting Monday night and were presented with an official proclamation.

Trimble thanked the council and the Jenks community for their support.

“Coach Trimble and his team played wonderfully this season,” Jenks Chamber President Josh Driskell said. “The entire community is proud of the entire organization and joins them in celebrating this championship.”

With the Trojans’ win, Trimble became the first Oklahoma football coach to win 10 state titles.
