Monthly Luncheon: Elizabeth King

February 17, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Have you heard the phrase “People don’t quit jobs – they quit bosses?” This statement is actually true. According to a recent study by Dale Carnegie, 75% of workers who voluntarily left their jobs did so because of their bosses and not the position itself.

As business leaders, it’s important to retain your top talent and reduce churn. So how can you become a better leader and create stronger relationships with your employees?

Join the Jenks Chamber on Wednesday, February 17 for Creating a Culture of Engagement. This presentation will discuss the impact of leaders on employee engagement, the real factors that motivate employees, and how you can influence and better engage your team. Attendee will walk away with action steps to improve your leadership skills and increase employee engagement.

Elizabeth King, APR, is a public relations professional with nearly 20 years of experience in community relations, employee engagement and education, fundraising and foundation administration, internal and external communications and event management.
