Women in Business: Giving

Join the Chamber’s small networking group, Women in Business, for a lunch supporting a local nonprofit organization.
Each November, the Women in Business initiative hosts an event to give back to a chosen nonprofit at their quarterly meeting.
WIB will partner with local non-profit Operation Aware of Oklahoma, raising funds to further their mission to equip youth, through prevention education, with the knowledge and skills to make positive life choices. Jeni Dolan, Operation Aware Executive Director, will share information on the risks associated with using tobacco and vaping products and let you know how you can help advocate preventative measures. Operation Aware is funded at Jenks Public Schools by the Jenks Public Schools Foundation.
“Now in its second year, Women in Business has brought in hundreds of business leaders throughout the Tulsa region to Jenks, all of whom are women passionate about making an impact in their communities,” said Angie Rains, director of business development for the Jenks Chamber. “The Giving event is one way we display thoughtful leadership and the incredible value of giving back to the community.”
Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers.
