Former NASA Administrator and United States Congressman Jim Bridenstine will address the Jenks Chamber of Commerce’s October luncheon at The Hive in Jenks.

Bridenstine will share his experiences at NASA and in Congress at the Chamber’s Oct. 20 luncheon, sponsored by Margaritaville Casino and Restaurant and Adam Abel Arvest Mortgage.

During Bridenstine’s tenure, NASA launched its new human lunar exploration mission, managed the continued commercial resupply of the International Space Station, and reinforced development of the X-59, a quiet supersonic aircraft, amongst other projects.

Bridenstine served in Congress from 2012 to April 2018 when he was appointed NASA administrator by President Donald Trump. He resigned his position at NASA earlier this year.

He previously served as a pilot in the US Navy where he flew combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
