Gateway Mortgage Group, LLC announced today the groundbreaking for the Gateway District in Jenks, located at US Highway 75 and West Main Street.
“This is a great milestone for Gateway and we are looking forward to being a part of the continued development in Jenks,” said Kevin Stitt, CEO of Gateway. “The new location has great visibility when traveling on Highway 75 and will provide an easy commute for our employees.”
The Gateway District will be the new home of Gateway Mortgage Group’s headquarters. The company, named one of The Oklahoman’s Top Workplaces in 2013 and 2014, expects the headquarters to be ready by June 2016. The four-story, 85,000 square foot building will have 42,500 square feet available for lease.
“I am truly happy to see more corporate development in our town,” Jenks Mayor Lonnie Sims said. “We are excited to have Gateway Mortgage Group in Jenks as their new home.”
The district will promote restaurant, office and retail development while future plans also extend to establish hotel locations in Jenks.
“This is an exciting development for Jenks,” said County Commissioner Karen Keith. “I am thrilled to see economic growth in Jenks and Tulsa County as it is good for the school and brings sales tax revenues to the city and county.”
The district is miles from Tulsa Hills and RiverWalk Crossing. There are currently five parcels of land with a total of 14 acres available.
“I hope local, regional and national companies will see what is going on at the Gateway District and will consider expanding their business here,” said Congressman Jim Bridenstine.
