Heather Turner has always had a passion for music. She attended The University of Tulsa School of Music and graduated with her Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis on Vocal Performance in December 2003.

Heather enjoyed teaching vocal and general music for seven years before opening her own music school, Anthem Road Academy. Heather and her family grew to love the community, schools and businesses of Jenks, America.

As an educator and advocate for quality education, she serves through organizations that contribute to bettering educational opportunity. Heather serves on the Jenks Public Schools Foundation Board, Bixby Optimist Board, Jenks Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is the founder of Women Who Impact.

“When nominated to serve on the Jenks Chamber Board of Directors, I was honored to join and contribute in any way I could,” Turner said.

Through the years, Heather has had many opportunities to serve the community and build valuable, lasting relationships. Heather loves being part of the Jenks Chamber for all they do to enrich the quality of life for the citizens of Jenks.

Heather has a deep belief that we each have a responsibility to be an active participant in creating opportunity for others and ourselves. She loves finding and developing potential in people and in places others may disregard. Her first book, “Dream Traders” is to be published Fall 2018. It is all about the pursuit of one’s dreams and the trades that must be made to see them come true.
