Main Street Jenks will help celebrate Independence Day 2012 with the Jenks, America Freedom Fest on Wednesday, July 4.
The Downtown Jenks Merchants Association and the Jenks Chamber of Commerce have partnered for this event.

For the festival, First Street south of Main and Second Street North of Main will be closed, Bonner said.
Participating merchants will be open during the festivities, which will include live music, a window decorating contest and more. Food vendors will be present for attendees.
The music is scheduled to being at 11 a.m.
The winner of the window decorating contest will be decided by those attending the event. Blank ballots will be available for attendees to write the name of their favorite display.
BancFirst is sponsoring the watermelon feed which will be set up at the corner of First and Main.
The closure of portions of First and Second Streets will last from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
