Branding through customer service will be the focus of July’s Jenks Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
Attendees will hear from Chris Putman, assistant professor of communications and media at Oral Roberts University. Putman will share techniques to help business owners establish a solid brand and raise awareness with their target audience.
The luncheon will begin at noon July 15 at the Holiday Inn Express in Jenks. The cost is $15 for Chamber members, $20 for non-members. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to attend.
Putman has taught branding, promotions, marketing, graphic design, public relations, social media, publications and business at the university level for nearly two decades.
Putman will cover how to establish a brand and start a relationship with a desired audience and use social media to push forward a product, service or organization.
“I can’t help someone earn a doctorate in marketing in a lunch hour, but I can certainly start the branding thought process and creative customer service conversation,” she said. “I’m thrilled to share the tools I have in my arsenal, and if I can help the economy of a business, I walk away fulfilled.”
