For the second year, the Jenks Chamber of Commerce will honor the City of Jenks’ employees for their work and service throughout the year.

The Municipal Employee Appreciation luncheon, co-sponsored by the chamber and BancFirst, seeks to recognize the employees for all of their assistance in the community throughout the year.

All of the organizations in Jenks know that without the city’s employees our events wouldn’t be possible,” Jenks Chamber of Commerce President Josh Driskell said. “This luncheon is just our way of saying ‘thanks’ to all of these hardworking men and women.”

In addition to providing city employees with a free lunch, Driskell said there will also be door prize drawings for items such as gift certificates and tickets to events.

The luncheon will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Holiday Inn Express in Jenks.

Cost for chamber members to attend is $15 and $20 for non-members.

The luncheon will start at 11:45 a.m and last until 1:15 p.m. so that all city employees who wish to attend will be able. Driskell said the luncheon will be a come-and-go event with no formal program other than the door prize drawings.

RSVP to the chamber at info@jenkschamber.com or 918.299.5005 no later than Monday, Nov. 12 at 4 p.m.
