Reasor’s recently received the Jenks Chamber of Commerce’s Retailer of the Year award, presented at the 2020 Inaugural Banquet Jan. 16. The Retailer of the Year award recognizes the best in retailers and retail innovation in the Jenks community. The winner will demonstrates excellence in retailing through successful sales, merchandising and customer service.
Reasor’s is a long-time Jenks establishment, providing quality service to its loyal customers. In 1963, Reasor’s opened up its first store in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
The Jenks location originally opened its store in 1988, and in 1992, The Jenks location grew to a larger store.
Last year, they donated over $32,000 to Recycle Hope, a program of the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma; ran multiple campaigns with the food bank, totaling over $234,000 to help address food insecurities.
They’ve also served free lunch for Veterans and Active Duty military on Veterans Day. They’ve held school supplies drives for local children in need of it.
The Reasor’s in Jenks employs 148 people and are a big part of Jenks’ sales tax base.
