Senior Star at Burgundy Place is hosting their first annual holiday Festival of Trees silent auction to benefit Tulsa Area United Way. Numerous trees and wreaths were donated for the event and will on display beginning November 28, 2012 at Burgundy Place, 8887 S. Lewis Ave, Tulsa, OK.
The silent auction is open to the public and begins Wednesday, November 28, 2012 and bidding will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday December 13, 2012 when Burgundy Place will be hosting a holiday open house event for their residents.
United Way is a worldwide network of nearly 1,800 local organizations in 41 countries and territories, including more than 1,200 local organizations in the U.S. It advances the common good, creating opportunities for a better life for all ages by focusing on the three key building blocks of education, income and health.
“We want to take action to help raise funds for this important cause,” said Burgundy Place Executive Director Tom Clarke. “The residents at Burgundy Place are enjoying the beautiful holiday décor and are thrilled to have an opportunity to give to an organization that is doing so much to help so many people right here in the Tulsa Area and all over the country.”
