The Jenks Chamber of Commerce named Mitchell Sims Ambassador of the Quarter for the second time this year, following the shared title with Spencer Groden for the first quarter.

Ambassadors are the Chamber’s volunteers who attend ribbon cuttings and assist with Chamber programs. Ambassadors are awarded points for their service.

The top point-getter is named Ambassador of the Quarter. Sims led in first, with Adam Abel, mortgage lender at Arvest, and Ken Hargrove, co-owner of Hargrove-Marker Funeral & Cremation Service, tied for runner up.

Sims is the president of Nesso Companies and founder of PigTracks, a midstream software. He has worked in oil and gas for nine years.

Sims says being a Chamber member provides him with the opportunity to meet new business owners and network with existing members.

“It’s important to be connected with supporters and patrons early,” Sims said. “The Chamber helps me stay plugged into the community, whether it be news and information or opportunities to serve.”

President and CEO of the Jenks Chamber Josh Driskell is appreciative to Sims for his volunteered service and representing the Chamber well.

“Mitchell always seeks out and welcomes newcomers to the Chamber community at events. We appreciate his commitment to the Chamber, as well as his community-driven spirit,” Driskell said.

The Jenks Chamber congratulates Sims for his accomplishment and thanks him, as well as all Ambassadors, for their volunteer service.
