Dear Jenks Chamber members: Based on guidelines released this weekend by the Centers for Disease Control and out of an abundance of caution and concern for our members, the Jenks Chamber is altering the format and rescheduling these upcoming events: Our Monthly Luncheon, scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, will not be held in our traditional, in-person format. Instead, we will hold an online forum with Mayor Robert Lee regarding the bond issue via Facebook Live at facebook.com/jenkschamber on that date at noon. Any member who has already paid for their luncheon can apply that payment toward a future luncheon. Maximize Your Membership, originally scheduled for Thursday, will be rescheduled to a later date. The March Legislative Briefing Breakfast will not be held. Instead, we will pre-record a session with our legislators discussing activity at the capitol. We will post that video on the morning of Friday, March 27 at facebook.com/jenkschamber. The ribbon cutting for Louie’s Grill and Bar, originally scheduled for March 24, will be rescheduled. The EMERGE Happy Hour scheduled for March 26 will be rescheduled to a later date. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation as it continues to develop. You can find more information about COVID-19 at jenkschamber.com. If you have any questions, please reach out to chamber staff via email or at 918.299.5005. Josh Driskell, IOM President Jenks Chamber of Commerce |
