The Jenks Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business program raised over $2,000 in donated items and monetary donations for Dress For Success Tulsa at its annual Giving event Nov. 5.

Items donated included clothing and accessories, personal hygiene products and more.

“Dress for Success Tulsa is a great organization that serves women in our region, and we are grateful to have partnered alongside them at our annual Giving event,” said program chair JayCee Kerns. 

Dress for Success Tulsa is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since its opening, Dress for Success Tulsa has helped over 13,000 women make transitions to thriving lives of self-sufficiency.

The Jenks Chamber will continue to accept donations for Dress For Success through the end of November. Donations may be dropped off at The Hive, located at 115 South First Street in Jenks.
